You must be wondering what this is all about? Well, I like gifts, as do my friends at Aurum Jewellers in Worthing. We’ve been thinking of ways we can help couples celebrate what is a truly exciting time of their life (and as I have seen when capturing the live proposal, nerve-wracking too!) A bottle of bubbly is great, but once that last fizzy drop is poured, all you’re left with is the trip to the recycling bin and wobbly footwork. My business is creating memories and capturing moments in a form that lasts forever.

As much as I love gifts, I’m not too big on giving my time and money away for free too often (my bills won’t get paid, the kids’ll starve etc!!) but I do love to give people a treat from time to time, and this is that, a treat. No strings attached, you won’t be bound to my service forever and ever, you won’t have me stalking you with a camera in years to come demanding to photograph your first grandchild, and you don’t have to part with any money (unless you really want to!)

So, the big questions:

WHAT IS THIS GIFT? It is a complementary 1 hour Engagement or Proposal Shoot, Monday-Friday, with a 10×8 mounted print and social media ready digital files.

WHAT ARE SOCIAL MEDIA READY FILES? These bad boys are compressed, ready to put online (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.) without distortion and have my digital frame and logo added… like the pics you’re seeing above on this page.

DO YOU SHARE THE IMAGES? Yes, social media plays an important part in my business, so I would use the images taken on your shoot for my own marketing and blogging.  Aurum would also receive copies of the images for their use too.

HOW MANY FILES WILL I GET? This is a hard number to quantify as all shoots are different, they range from 20-50. I don’t generally hold back any images unless they are technically unsound or just plain unflattering.

CAN I PRINT THESE OR EDIT THEM? In short, no. They have been compressed so will distort at print level. As copyright always remains with the photographer, you would be in breach of copyright if the images are altered.

HOW CAN I PRINT MORE? 2 options: You can come back to me and order more prints, or, you can order print ready digital files which are high res and free from watermarks/logo’s and come with permissions to reprint. Both of these options are available through the online gallery from which you will see your images.

HOW MUCH DO EXTRAS COST? High-res, digital files with Print Release License are £15 each and prints start from £15 for a 7×5 print (+p&p). Canvasses/acrylics/metallics and photo-books are also an option. I use professional print labs in the UK for my printing and Graphistudio in Italy for all my handmade photo-books

HOW DO I CHOOSE MY FREE PRINT? Simples… just favourite your chosen file and I will do the rest.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL? My reach for this opportunity is between Brighton in East Sussex; Portsmouth in Hampshire and up to Horsham in West Sussex. So a rough guide is about a 20mile radius around the PO21 postcode.

I WANT THE SHOOT TO BE FURTHER AWAY, IS THIS POSSIBLE? With an option for travel expenses, yes, anything is possible!

CAN I EXCHANGE THIS FOR A FAMILY SHOOT? This offer is not interchangeable with any service I provide, nor does it have any cash value should you wish to invest in any services in the future.

I WANT TO BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING, CAN I GET A DISCOUNT AS WE WONT NEED THE TEST SHOOT? Nice try! The investment for your wedding photography collection includes a complementary test shoot, as it is a complementary part of the service there is no monetary value to be removed from the collection price. It’s a great afternoon getting to know each other better to get the best results on your wedding day.
